What is your favorite thing about your job? I enjoy working in optometry and ophthalmology. Both offer a real impact on people’s lives by improving their vision and overall well-being. It’s rewarding to be a part of the patient’s journey. It is a major bonus that I love the people I work with!

What was your first job? My first job was at a preschool helping in the toddler/baby room.

What is an irrational fear you have? I see the dentist every 6 months, but fear going every single time.

Tell me a bit more about yourself. When I was younger, my first career choice was to be a veterinarian, but I scrapped that when I realized I had allergies! Now I volunteer with animal rescues using a trap-neuter-return (TNR) approach.
